The project was secured through a mini-tender process after our successful appointment to
Lot 1 & 2 on the 6th of October 2015 for the 4 year London Borough of Barking & Dagenhams
Major Construction Framework.

The project consisted of the Design, Build and Defects Rectification of 6 New Bungalows
designated for elderly residents including site clearance, de-contamination, demolition,
associated services, drainage, infrastructure and external works. The development site was
occupied by 30 single garages and a redundant boiler house. These were demolished and the
site was cleared leaving just the boundary walls and fences.

We had sole responsibility for the design and detailing of the project, which was to be
managed through the appointment of our Professional Team. The detailed design work was
undertaken in compliance with the planning application drawings In addition, the principles of the design worked in compliance with the requirements of the GLA Funding Authority and other key requirements as set out within the following design criteria listed below:
